For my birthday I went out and bought myself a refurbished 50mm lens for my camera, and oh gosh, I have fallen in love. I didn't have thee greatest day today, but as soon as it came in I excitedly opened the box and looked at the amazingness in my hand and put it on my Rebel and took some snapshots. I love the soft look to every photo, and the accidental light leak on my accidental selfie (my god). Definitely perked up my day. I can't wait to take this lens out more and experiment.
